MARGARITA CARBAJAL CARMONA

Margarita Carbajal Carmona, with over 30 years of experience in the
business world, is a prominent leader in the tourism industry and a leading figure in innovation and sustainability within the sector in Mexico. She currently serves as National President of the Federation of Tourism Business Owners (FETUR), where she promotes business collaboration, the use of advanced technologies, and the comprehensive development of tourist destinations.


In the business world, she is the CEO of MARTOM SA DE CV, a
tour operator recognized for its excellence and focus on
quality tourism experiences in Cozumel. She has also held prominent roles as Founding President of FETUR Quintana Roo, where she led initiatives to diversify and professionalize the state's tourism sector.


Throughout her career, Margarita has played important roles, such as
National Tourism Advisor at the Mexican Association of Women Entrepreneurs
(AMEXME), strengthening strategic business networks and supporting female leadership
in the business field.


Under his leadership at FETUR, he has consolidated the World Tourism Trends Summit
(WTTS) as a global benchmark event, bringing together experts and industry leaders
to analyze trends, explore solutions and generate
innovative strategies that strengthen tourism in a constantly transforming world.

DANIELA MIER BAÑUELOS

An activist and social advocate committed to equality and the well-being of all people. With a strong academic background in Human Talent Management and Human Development, she has focused her career on public administration, cultural strengthening, and the empowerment of vulnerable populations. She also holds a diploma in human rights from a gender perspective

In the government sector, she served as Head of the Department of Intersectoral and Municipal Liaison at the Puebla State Welfare Secretariat, where she also chaired the Volunteer Program. Subsequently, she was a State Representative in the LXI Legislature, chairing the Culture Committee. She served as Undersecretary for the Prevention of Violence and Discrimination at the Puebla State Secretariat for Women and Substantive Equality and currently heads the Gender Equality Unit of the Puebla State Congress.

 She leads several civil organizations, promoting entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, and social development. She is also the driving force behind a collective brand that gives visibility to women artisans in the state of Puebla, Manos Artesanas Poblanas MAP, a pioneering effort to eradicate the undervaluation of handcrafted and local products.

She has participated in national and international forums on women's empowerment, combating human trafficking, and cultural promotion. Her work has transcended borders with presentations in New York, Las Vegas, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Spain. She has also promoted exhibitions and fashion shows to showcase Puebla's artisanal talent at events such as Design Week Puebla, the Regional Museum of Cholula, and the Mexican Embassy in Spain.
